Ages 10–13 · St. Marcus Lutheran School
RCofMMA sponsors the EarlyAct club at St. Marcus Lutheran School — a service club for grade-school students with a focus on ages 10 to 13. There are currently 12 members in the RCofMMA EarlyAct club.
The EarlyAct club gives members the opportunity to gain an increased awareness and knowledge of their community and the world. At a young age, members are easily encouraged to be caring and helpful. Their minds are open to recognize the dignity and worth of each individual — building respect for others.
EarlyAct also engages its members in character-building activities and prepares them for leadership roles. Members identify and carry out projects that benefit their school, local, and global communities.
The mission and operation of the EarlyAct club are closely linked to the ideals of Rotary, and provide a natural foundation for moving into Interact clubs in middle and high school.
